If you’ve ever had someone call you about a past due bill, you know only too well how intimidating it is. Even if it was just an oversight on your part, you may still be inclined to feel low and worthless. If you have a history of bad credit, this will be amplified by the number of calls multiplied by the collectors and their technique for getting money – It’s upsetting, discouraging and stressful to say the very least. We avoid answering our phones, knowing there will be that ‘message’ waiting for us. Friends may ask why you don’t answer certain calls and you may be too embarrassed to tell them that you are avoiding a collection call. Well, there’s help.
